Pariyaram college to offer free treatment

KANNUR: The Pariyaram Medical College will offer free medical treatment to 1,000 patients with pre-existing ailments hailing from poor families in Kasaragod, Kannur and Wayanad districts.

T.K. Govindan, chairman of the cooperative society controlling the medical college, said at a press conference here on Wednesday that the patients from poor families in the three districts would be offered free in-patient treatment at the medical college hospital as part of its scheme launched on the occasion of the third anniversary of the election of the present director board of the society.

Those who wanted to avail of the free treatment could register their names till April 3. Dates of treatment would be announced later.
