Demand for facilities at Alappuzha medical college

ALAPPUZHA: The Parent-Teachers Association (PTA) of T.D. Medical College at Vandanam has urged the government to ensure necessary facilities and infrastructure in the college to retain the recently augmented number of seats.

In a press release here, PTA president P. Pushparajan said the government should implement the decision to appoint postgraduate doctors directly as assistant professors.

The construction of two blocks and a compound wall should be completed soon. A committee to monitor the works, with the local legislator as chairman, may be constituted for the purpose, he said.

The library should have medical publications and journals of international repute
