Rs.20 lakh for 3 schools under PRISM Project

Kozhikode: Three schools in the city have been sanctioned Rs.20 lakh to modernise their libraries under the PRISM (Promoting Regional Schools to International Standards through Multiple Interventions) Project of the State government.

The State Budget for 2009-10 has made an allocation of Rs.30 lakh for the project.

A. Pradeep Kumar, Kozhikode-I MLA, took the initiative for submitting a project report to the government and the three schools in his constituency can use the money to buy books and furniture for their libraries.
