Kochi boys do well in Civil Services exam

KOCHI: The Civil Engineering graduate who made it to the final list in the Civil Services had set his heart to work to bring about a change. And Rahul P. R. from Thripunithura believes that a lot of things can be done if he worked with the Government.

A B.Tech graduate in 2008 from NSS Engineering College, Palakkad, Rahul has bagged 303rd rank in his first attempt at the Civil Services. It was during second and third year of his college that he first came to think about going for the Civil Services, said Mr. Rahul.

�I was involved with Chinmaya Yuva Kendras Wings project at Palakkad that helps provide for education of poor children, he said.

�Being part of the project, I had interacted with a lot of people from all sections of the society, especially in the lower strata. We had to find donors for children. I b
