KSIDC forays into new sectors for funding

TPURAM: Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation, the premier industrial promotional agency in the state, has identified five more potential sectors for financial assistance.

After a thorough study of the potential and growth, KSIDC has selected logistics, infrastructure, media and entertainment, knowledge centres and retailing as additional sectors for extending financial assistance, Corporation Managing Director Alkesh Sharma said in a release here on Monday.

KSIDCs emphasis on the new sectors was in tune with the industrial policy of the state government that aimed to accelerate growth by attracting a steady stream of investments to the state, he said
