Kozhikode: Industries Minister Elamaram Karim has asked government departments to complete all ongoing projects and welfare schemes before February 28, 2011.
Addressing a meeting to review the development projects in the district on Tuesday, he asked the departments to prepare a schedule to complete the projects in a phased manner. Each official should be entrusted with special authority to implement a project. They should chalk out a programme on a priority basis to implement the project within the next eight months, Mr. Karim said.
The official should mediate in case of any dispute in executing a project, especially if it was construction of roads. They should also utilise the service of elected representatives in this regard, he said.
