Respect for all gave city park a colourful beat

This year it was for two days and combined the Exeter Council Play Day with was the most multi-cultural, diverse and biggest annual celebration since it started in 1997.

To stand up tall and hear the sound of music coming from everywhere was one of the most sensational moments of my life. It was the beat of love and tolerance, it is the beat of saying goodbye to our ignorance and defeat our fears of each other.

There was no spaces for the otherness, we were one voice, one community.
