New office for City Police Commissioner

KOCHI: The office of the City Police Commissioner has been shifted from its premises at High Court junction to the eleventh floor of the Revenue Tower along Park Avenue.

The existing building at High Court Junction would be demolished and the new complex would be constructed there soon.

B. Sandhya, Inspector General of Police, Ernakulam Range, inaugurated the new office here on Friday.

She lit the ceremonial lamp. K.K. Gopalan, Executive Engineer, Kerala State Housing Board, handed over the keys to Ms. Sandhya, who handed it over to Manoj Abraham, City Police Commissioner.

Ashok Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Kottayam; A. Akbar, Superintendent of Police, Alappuzha; George Varghese, Superintendent of Police, Idukki; T. Vikram, Superintendent of Police, Ernakulam Rural; P.H. Ashraf, Deputy City Police Commissioner; K.I. Bhaskaran, Deputy Commandant, Armed Reserve Camp, Ernakulam; were present at the shifting function.
