Special trains to Bangalore

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Southern Railway will run special trains in the Ernakulam- Bangalore-Ernakulam sector from August 19 to August 27 to clear the extra rush of passengers during Onam.

Advance reservation for the special trains will commence on Sunday.

0653 Ernakulam Junction-Bangalore Special will leave Ernakulam Junction at 9.30 p.m. on August 19 and August 26 to arrive at Bangalore at 10 a.m. the next day.

In the return direction, 0654 Bangalore-Ernakulam Junction Special will leave Bangalore City at 6.50 p.m. on August 20 and August 27 to arrive at Ernakulam Junction at 6.30 a.m. the next day.

The trains will have one AC 2 tier, one AC 3 tier, seven sleeper class, two general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. 0654 will stop at Ernakulam Town also. 0657 Ernakulam Junction-Bangalore Superfast Special will leave Ernakulam at 9.30 p.m. on August 20 to arrive at Bangalore at 10 a.m. the next day.

In the return direction, 0658 Bangalore-Ernakulam Superfast Special will leave Bangalore City at 5.15 p.m. on August 21 to arrive at Ernakulam at 4.20 a.m. the next day.
